John Yost, ProCompass founder and principal, has been helping companies solve management and operations problems for more than 25 years. With a solid background in management and leadership, John has an in-depth understanding of the issues organization face in achieving excellence in performance, as well as the tools and methodologies available to help them reach their goals.
John received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and his MBA from Santa Clara University. He is an instructor in the University of Phoenix MBA program.
John has achieved a number of accreditations. He is a certified behaviors, values and atrributes analyst with Target Training International and he is also an active affiliate of Resource Associates Corporation (RAC), the Total Quality Institute (TQI) and the Association for Quality & Productivity (AQP). He is a Certified Quality Manager and Certified Reliability Engineer through the American Society for Quality (ASQ). He is an active member of the American Management Association (AMA) and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
